After many runs of sync --nostop over the last few days I see a pattern where it appears to get in a situation of not ever finding any peers. Part of the issue could be that there are not too many short fruitful routes to peers from New York city.
So what I want to do is add a parameter to give it an IP to try first. I would take it from the list of 400 I told you about. I can have python fetch the first item returned from https://api.blockchair.com/bitcoin-sv/nodes or I can hardcode in one of those IPs for now.
To make it easy for an experiment, where can I simply hardcode in a starting IP for spynode to use for its peer searching?
