Tracability - Supply chain

Do you forsee that Tokenized can be used to track products?

Lets say create tokens to reprecent x kg of raw material then send the tokens up the supply chain. Then have each producer/sales/transportation add informaton about the state of the product when they hand the product over to the next company in the supply chain.

This way it should be able to track the origins of the product and the amount of raw material in each finished product.

Yes, on-chain tokens/messages/static contracts can be used for tracking products with a universally unique identifier (UUID). This approach takes advantage of the decentralized nature of the Bitcoin SV network allowing for a ‘trustless’ way to track the full chain of custody for all products and associated inputs all the way back to the origins, and in a supranational way (global).

However, it is important to note that each use case comes with different requirements and therefore different technical solutions. There is also a lot of nuance in these types of systems that needs to be carefully considered on a case by case basis.
